Estate Tea, Black Tea

A selection of tea from the finest estates of Assam, Darjeeling and Ceylon. The Assams region is not high altitude but the soil is a deep, sandy loam and the climate is hot and steamy.  These conditions produce thick full bodied teas.Darjeeling of India grows teas that exhibit a muscatel flavor with a fairly light tasting cup. Ceylon (a.k.a Sri Lanka) characterizes it's growing districts by elevation, the highest being 4000 feet above sea level.Teas grown at this altitude are light and flavory.
